Too many medium-small sized spiders and you'll be surrounded. Try to focus on whittling down on one spider and its offspring while leaving the other spider intact. The smaller the spider, the faster it moves. The spider enemies split into two smaller spiders when killed. Level 2-10 is one of the two hardest levels in the game. Chapter 2 Complete (30): Complete all Quests in Chapter 2. Remember to enable Perks in the Settings if playing on Xbox One or Steam! Chapter 1 Complete (30): Complete all Quests in Chapter 1.Īnybody can get this one. Most levels are significantly easier with at least one co-op partner, but not all. The green meter at the top of the screen will flash when the final enemy has spawned, and it flashes again when the last enemy dies. The goal in every level is to defeat all enemies. Beating all ten levels unlocks the next chapter. The Xbox One version offers seven chapters while other versions only have six. If it never gets to Plus, oil the topic.Quests mode is Crimsonland's campaign mode. It may be worth playing, but paying is definitely not.
Crimsonland is therefore full of contradictions. And maybe it would even be so, if not for the fact that the creators did not understand it and as a result the mobile version was severely reduced.
When Musiol was checking the PS4 version some time ago, it also seemed to him that the production would be much better in a portable version. However, the technical layer of the game was neglected, which will allow you to get bored with the work of 10tons quite quickly. Summing up, Crimsonland seemingly has everything you would expect from an analog shooter. Playing on one couch with friends gains a lot and it is surprising that in return portable online co-op players have not been implemented. Since we’re already unflattering, I will mention that the handheld version has been castrated from the local co-op, something that is probably the main advantage of playing on PS4. Complete nonsense and it’s good that we can also “shoot from the finger” by touching the PS Vita screen. We move with the left k**b, of course, so we should shoot with the right one, right? None of these things – the law is only for aiming, and to shoot, additionally press the R button. What’s more, the controls can also be annoying. It is also sad that we have only a few types of battlefields and only a dozen or so adversaries.
Graphically, it is a dinosaur that could be successfully run on 16-bit Windows 3.1.
So it seems that there is too much fun waiting for the player, but don’t be fooled – each of these modes is fun for a few minutes, because how many can you just break your own (or friends) records?īasically, the concept of the game cannot be objected to, but technically Crimsonland is lame.
Among them we can find: “Survival”, in which we have to survive a massive invasion of monsters as long as possible, “Blitz” consisting of the same, but with increased pace, “Rush” – where we only have a machine gun, “Weapon Picker” with a limited ammunition and weapons randomly appearing on the board and “Nukefism”, in which we do not have any weapons at all, and we defend ourselves only with power-ups.
As a definite minus of this title, I would take the fact that it is not skills that determine success.īy passing the main game mode, we unlock not only higher difficulty levels (masochists will be happy), but also other fun options. Crimsonland is therefore characterized by a large dose of randomness. Why do we often pass a given level only after another approach? Unfortunately, because our success or lack of it depends mainly on what weapons and power-ups will “fall” from the opponents. However, after a few tries, you almost always move on. normal difficulty level, some stages are extremely hard to complete. In order not to be so difficult, the killed opponents are sometimes left with various types of weapons or boosters, after picking them up we will slow down time, freeze the opponents or, for example, start firing triple beams of fire. The main course here is the fun mode, simply called “Quests”, where we have 60 levels at our disposal, where our task will be to exterminate the monsters that flood us and stay alive. We come back to the times when analog shooters triumphed in electronic entertainment. Or at least it was supposed to be for you.Ĭrimsonland – because we are talking about it – is an old school style game. Are you tired of intricate plots, stiff dialogues and boring explorations? Are you fed up with overcomplicated gameplay in today’s shooters? If you answer yes to both questions, then the latest 10tons game is for you.
